Professional Bio
Erin McGregor is a multifaceted leader whose experience spans public and private sectors, including federal government, education, law, real estate, media, and journalism support.
Erin led community engagement and educational initiatives at the Association of Independents in Radio (AIR) including mentorship and programming on SoundPath, AIR’s platform for the audio industry. She also led the initiative to update the 2025 Freelance Rate Guide in collaboration with community members and stakeholders.
Erin served as a judge for the 2025 48-hour Sonic Dash competition, the Signal Awards and for Current.org's Rising Stars competition. She has been a speaker at Podcast Movement, the NLGJA Convention, Resonate Podcast Festival, the University of Calgary, the Illinois Institute for Technology, Concordia University and more. She currently serves as Governance and Vice Chair on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of PhillyCAM, Philadelphia's community access media center.
Erin holds a Master’s Degree in Social Justice & Equity Studies where she studied the impact of broadcast journalism on democracy. She currently resides in Philadelphia.
