Announcing Brian Duff as Program Manager

The Online News Association (ONA) is excited to welcome Brian Duff as Program Manager. Since 2018, Brian has consulted for ONA, developing programming for each annual conference as well as other events. His contributions include creating curriculum for journalism industry trainings, coordinating events and managing educational programming for ONA’s annual conferences.
In his full-time role as Program Manager, Brian will collaborate with presenters to develop programming for ONA’s in-person and virtual events. He will play a key role in shaping educational experiences that respond to the evolving needs of journalists and media leaders today.
Brian has designed programs and events that meet journalists where they are. His work supports newsrooms and media organizations through change by delivering practical, timely learning opportunities that help individuals grow and the industry move forward together.
“I’m excited to be part of a team that prioritizes adaptability and resilience in our programming and journalism support,” said Brian. “I’m also personally looking forward to focusing on this work full time to help build year-round programming for and with the ONA community.”
Brian’s appointment underscores ONA’s ongoing commitment to investing in thoughtful, inclusive programming that supports journalists at every stage of their careers.
