Emily Dugdale

Emily Elena Dugdale is an award-winning investigative journalist based in Los Angeles. She is currently the Executive Editor of the nonprofit newsroom LA Public Press. Previously, she was a senior criminal justice reporter for the NPR station LAist/KPCC. She’s written for ProPublica, the Guardian, NPR, Marketplace, the Markup, and the Los Angeles Times, among other publications. Emily is also a former Pulitzer Center AI Accountability Fellow and Maynard 200 Fellow.
