Jasmine Williams

Jasmine Williams is a producer at The Margin, the only publication focused exclusively on telling stories about environmental justice. She manages complex, multi-state storytelling initiatives from commissioning and production through publication, coordinating reporters, photographers, editors, fact-checkers, and creative teams to bring ambitious journalism to life.

With a background in cultural production and strategic storytelling, Jasmine specializes in translating editorial vision into collaborative, audience-centered experiences. Her work spans project management, contributor relations, production planning, public programming, and multimedia storytelling, ensuring impactful reporting reaches communities through compelling digital, visual, and live engagement.

Outside of The Margin, Jasmine is the founder of 'Sipp Talk, a Mississippi-based media and cultural production studio dedicated to documenting and amplifying the people, ideas, and creative communities shaping the state's future. Her work sits at the intersection of journalism, arts and culture, and public engagement, with a focus on using storytelling to strengthen community, shift narratives, and preserve cultural memory.
