Nabawoia Dawod

Nabawoia Dawod is a Sudanese investigative journalist specializing in uncovering corruption and advancing transparency and accountability. She began her career in 2007 at Al-Sahafa newspaper and later worked with prominent outlets including Al-Shahid, Al-Qarar, and Al-Siha, where she served as Deputy Head of Investigations. Her reporting has exposed corruption in public health institutions and the East Sudan Reconstruction Fund, often at great personal risk, facing legal and security pressures as a result of her work. She holds a professional diploma in media presentation and production and has also worked with broadcast outlets such as Sudani 24. After moving to the UAE, she expanded into digital content writing, earning a Mini-MBA in Business Administration and Marketing, as well as a Google Digital Marketing certification. She is currently focused on cultural and investigative reporting with Voice press.
